Challenges

  1. Ground Levels & Landscaping:
The project site had uneven ground that required extensive grading and landscaping. This was essential to ensure a stable foundation for the steel-framed building and to create a visually appealing surrounding landscape.
  2. Design Changes:
Partway through the steel building project, the client requested changes to the design, including altering the location and size of the roller shutters. This required flexibility and quick adaptation to the new requirements without causing delays.
  3. Ramp & Vehicle Washing Area:
The original design of the ramps was modified to increase the area for washing vehicles. This required careful planning and precise execution to ensure that the ramps were functional, durable, and aesthetically pleasing.

The Solution

1. Ground Levels & Landscaping:
The uneven ground presented a significant challenge, but our team at Midbrook addressed it effectively by performing extensive grading and landscaping. We ensured a level base for the steel-framed structure and created an attractive landscape that complements the timber clad building.

2. Design Changes:
When the client requested changes to the building’s design, specifically regarding the roller shutters, our team adapted swiftly. We relocated and resized the shutters as per the client’s requirements, ensuring that these adjustments did not disrupt the project timeline.

3. Ramp & Vehicle Washing Area:
The expansion of the ramp area for vehicle washing was a crucial change. Our team handled this with precision, ensuring that the enlarged area was both practical and integrated well with the overall design. The ramp was completed to a high standard, meeting both functional and aesthetic goals.

The Outcome

Our client now enjoys a stunning timber clad steel-framed building that seamlessly integrates with their property and surroundings. The steel building serves its intended purposes of machinery storage and vehicle washing, while also enhancing the aesthetic value of the surrounding landscape. The project was completed on time, within the 8-week schedule, demonstrating our unwavering commitment to quality and efficiency in every endeavour.
