Last summer, Hall & Co. Properties Limited approached Midbrook Steel Buildings after noticing one of our completed steel-framed buildings in the area. They were looking for a commercial building that would serve as a focal point for the community at their new housing development, Curtis Hall, in Henbury.
We were proud to deliver a turnkey solution that now stands as an elegant timber-clad steel building, set to be used as both a café and a gym.
A Stylish and Energy-Efficient Steel Building
Unlike traditional steel buildings, this project stands out with its refined timber detailing and architectural finish. Bespoke features included vertical tongue and groove timber cladding and timber gable ends, helping the steel building blend seamlessly into its residential surroundings.
At the client’s request, we carried out an air test to assess the building’s airtightness and ensure it met their energy performance expectations.
