what we did...

Stroods Specialist Contractors entrusted Midbrook Steel Buildings with the task of supplying and fitting the main steel-framed building for a unique project: a Dog Training Building designed for Writtle College. Collaborating with Emptage Architects, our aim was to deliver a structure tailored to the specific needs of the client, ensuring functionality and durability for the purpose of dog training activities.

Project Overview

The scope of our involvement in this project revolved around the supply and installation of the main steelwork for the building, as well as the provision of insulated cladding. While other contractors were responsible for the concrete slab and masonry work, our expertise lay in delivering high-quality steel-framed buildings to meet the client’s requirements effectively.

Steel Framed Building Specifications

The dimensions of the steel-framed building were carefully planned, measuring 12.4m x 28m with a height just over 6m to the eaves. These specifications were carefully considered to ensure optimal space utilisation for dog training activities while providing a comfortable environment for both trainers and animals.

Execution

Our team at Midbrook Steel Buildings executed the steel-framed building project with precision and attention to detail, adhering to the architectural plans provided by Emptage Architects. From the fabrication of the steelwork to the installation of the insulated cladding, every aspect of the construction process was carried out with a focus on quality and efficiency.

Collaboration

Collaboration played a pivotal role in the successful delivery of the Steel Framed Dog Training Building. Working closely with Stroods Specialist Contractors, Writtle College, and Emptage Architects, we ensured that the project remained on track and aligned with the client’s vision throughout every stage of development.

Conclusion

In conclusion, Midbrook Steel Buildings had the privilege of contributing to the creation of a purpose-built facility for Writtle College’s dog training activities. By supplying and fitting the main steelwork for the steel-framed building and providing insulated cladding, we helped realise the client’s vision of a functional and durable training environment. This project stands as a testament to our expertise in constructing bespoke steel buildings and our commitment to meeting the unique needs of every client.
