Project Overview
Midbrook Steel Buildings designed and delivered this steel-framed agricultural barn as a complete turnkey project, managing everything from the groundworks through to the finished building.
Originally completed in summer 2024, the client recently shared updated photographs of the building two years on, and it's great to see it still looking as impressive as the day it was handed over.
Designed to provide practical, flexible storage with the added benefit of an open-sided canopy, the building offers a durable, low-maintenance solution for everyday agricultural use.
Building Use & Project Challenges
This steel-framed agricultural building is now being used to support forestry operations, providing a practical and durable space for storing equipment, machinery and materials while benefiting from the flexibility of the open-sided canopy.
One of the biggest challenges during the project was the site's location. The building was situated approximately 1km down a narrow access road, making the delivery of materials and construction equipment more complex. Careful planning and coordination by the Midbrook team ensured materials were delivered safely and efficiently, allowing the project to be completed without unnecessary delays.
