Do I Require Building Regulations Approval?
Any building over 30 sqm will require Building Regulations approval, though different rules may apply in the agricultural sector. It’s important to clarify these requirements before ordering, as they may impact the design.
We’re happy to provide guidance, but we also recommend consulting your local authority or a private building inspector.
How Long Will it Take for my Steel-Framed Building to be Delivered?
For a standard supply-only Midbrook steel building, our typical lead time is 2–4 weeks from order placement.
For supply and installation, the lead time is 10–12 weeks from order.
Will all Materials arrive in One Delivery?
This depends on the size of the building and any site restrictions. For smaller buildings, most materials will arrive in a single delivery. For larger projects, deliveries may be staggered, but this will be communicated in advance.
What Foundations or Footings Do I Need?
Our steel buildings are typically designed to be bolted to a concrete slab, and we offer this service as a turnkey package if required. At Midbrook, our in-house groundworks team enables us to offer a full turnkey solution, handling everything from foundations to final finishes.
