Cresswell is a village in the Bassetlaw district of Nottinghamshire, England. Creswell’s Leisure Centre had been in operation for many years but it had become outdated and was no longer fit for purpose. The local council decided to replace it with a modern building that could serve as a One Stop Shop and retail unit. The new building needed to be durable, cost-effective and built to a high standard.
We were delighted that Midrook Steel Buildings was chosen as the contractor for the project due to its expertise in constructing steel framed buildings.
The construction package included groundworks, steelwork, cladding, and external work for the two retail units that made up One Stop. Midrook Steel Buildings used a steel frame for the building’s structure, which provided strength and durability. The cladding was made of high-quality materials that provided insulation and protection against the elements.
The building needed to be completed within a specified time frame to avoid disrupting the local community. Midrook Steel Buildings worked tirelessly to ensure that the project was completed on time and within budget.
