Work Starts on New Steel Building Coffee Shop at Derbyshire Garden Centre

Midbrook Steel Buildings has officially commenced construction on an exciting new coffee shop at the Collyers Garden Centre. The innovative steel building project, designed to enhance visitors’ experiences, is set to become a hub for coffee enthusiasts and garden lovers alike.

The new coffee shop structure showcases Midbrook’s cutting-edge steel stud & track system, ensuring both durability and architectural finesse. Additionally, the roof system features Kingspan insulated roof panels, guaranteeing optimal insulation and energy efficiency.

Designed with aesthetics in mind, the coffee shop’s exterior will be adorned with larch horizontal cladding, perfectly complemented by Khaki Green Aluminium windows. This blend of natural and contemporary elements promises to create an inviting ambience for patrons.

Midbrook’s involvement in the steel building project goes beyond just the building’s framework; their scope of work includes site clearance and groundworks, constructing a reinforced insulated concrete raft design. They will also be handling the supply and installation of the cladding and taking charge of some internal aspects of the steel building coffee shop.

With construction already underway, the team at Collyers Garden Centre is optimistic about completing the steel framed building project in time for the upcoming busy summer months. The coffee shop is expected to become a popular destination for visitors seeking respite, refreshment and a chance to savour the glorious surroundings of the garden centre.

As anticipation builds, locals and tourists alike eagerly await the opening of this new coffee shop, which promises to add a delightful new dimension to the vibrant Derbyshire horticultural scene.
