what we did...
Savills Farms & Estates wanted to replace an existing barn with a new steel framed building.

Our client was looking for a steel framed building company to provide a total project management package for their new building. The brief was to demolish the existing barn, excavate new foundations, and construct a new steel framed building that matched the existing one.

The first stage of the project was to demolish the existing barn safely.

The next stage was to excavate new foundations for the steel framed building. Midbrook Steel Buildings ensured that the foundations were excavated to the correct depth and width and that they were able to support the weight of the new steel framed building.

The steel framed building was designed using versatile cold rolled engineered portal steel frames, which provided a strong and durable framework for the building. Midbrook Steel Buildings then clad the building with a larch lap cladding, which gave the building a natural and attractive appearance. We also constructed a dwarf brick wall to match the existing building and a fibre cement roof, which provided excellent insulation and durability.

The completed steel framed building matched the existing building perfectly and was ready to be used for storage and garaging purposes. The client was extremely happy with the finished result, which exceeded their expectations in terms of quality and appearance.

Throughout the project, Midbrook Steel Buildings provided a total project management package, ensuring that all work was carried out to the highest standards of safety and quality. We worked closely with the client to ensure that the project was delivered on time and within budget.
