The task at hand was clear: supply and fit a bespoke steel-framed building spanning 19m x 65m. Our primary objective? To provide a secure storage facility for the railway carriages, all while ensuring strict adherence to building regulations.

– Dual Pitch Design: Our steel building design featured a dual-pitch roof, cleverly maximising internal space to accommodate the railway carriages comfortably.
– Cladding Specification: The majority of the building boasted robust single-skin cladding, offering unparalleled protection against the elements. To bolster thermal efficiency and climate control, one elevation was outfitted with insulated cladding.
– Fire Safety Measures: Recognising the paramount importance of safety, we meticulously fire boarded the columns of the steel frame building to meet stringent building regulations, ensuring optimal protection for the stored railway carriages.
– Foundation and Track Installation: A stable foundation is the cornerstone of any enduring structure. We securely fixed the steel building to individual pads, providing the necessary stability for long-term durability. Additionally, we seamlessly integrated the train track into the structure, facilitating smooth operations once the steel framework was in place.
