Tropical Marine Centre needed a larger warehouse space to meet the demands of its growing business. Tropical Marine Centre is a well-established supplier of marine fish and invertebrates to the global aquarium trade. The company’s main trade facility in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, required a larger warehouse space to accommodate its growing inventory and improve operational efficiency.

A private client in Wrotham required a new garage/workshop. Midbrook Steel Buildings was contracted to design and install a custom steel framed building with black insulated cladding, black overlap larch wall cladding, brickwork plinth, and black hardwood sliding doors.

In this case study, we will be looking at a steel building project we completed for a client who needed a new pump house building.

This case study focuses on a project completed by Midbrook Steel Buildings for Pace Mechanical, a commercial client in Spalding. The project involved the construction of a steel framed building, measuring 7m x 15m, which was to be used for storage and offices.

Midbrook was responsible for all aspects of the project, including design, groundworks and supply/installation of the steel building.

Cambridge Biopower Ltd is a commercial company based in Peterborough, UK. They needed a new steel framed building for storage purposes and required it quickly. Midbrook Steel Buildings took on the challenge!

The steel framed building’s dimensions were 9m x 20m x 5m to eaves and we were tasked with supplying and fitting a steel framed structure. We were given a deadline of four weeks from the initial enquiry to complete the steel building project.

2nd Cheadle Scouts Group required a new steel framed building for their equipment storeroom and vehicle garage. The project involved designing and constructing a mono-pitch portal steel framed building with insulated cladding and roof in Juniper Green, a roller shutter door, a PA door, a fire door and groundworks.

Midbrook Steel Buildings was appointed as the main steel building contractor for the project.

The Barn Garden Centre approached Midbrook Steel Buildings to construct a steel framed building similar to a project completed for Collyer’s Nursery. The project’s scope was to supply and fit a portal steel framed building with insulated cladding, aluminium doors and windows with larch cladding.

The team also completed groundworks, created an outdoor sales area, laid new drains, ran ducts for new services and completed paving and surfacing.

Wrekin Pneumatics approached Midbrook Steel Buildings to design and construct a new steel framed building for their business.

We started with an initial site survey to assess the space and determine the requirements for the new steel framed building. After our consultation, we were appointed to take on the full management of the project.
