Midbrook were approached by the client to recreate something similar to Collyer’s Nursery as they were hugely impressed with their building. The scope of works for this project was to supply and fit a portal framed building with insulated cladding, aluminium doors and windows with larch cladding.
Our groundworks team cleared an unused area and undertook a reduced level dig, completed floor and foundations for the new building. Created an outdoor sales area, laid new foul and storm drains, ran ducts for the new services and completed paving and surfacing.
Following on from our initial site survey, Midbrook was appointed to take on the full management of the new building. Midbrook’s in house planning specialist took care of all the planning work and organisation of a specialist flood risk assessment and level survey. Working on a restrictive busy site, Midbrook carried out the groundworks and associated drainage works, supplied and fitted the steelwork for the main structure and mezzanine flooring, insulated cladding and internal and external blockwork. In addition, Midbrook carried out first and second fix joinery work and mechanical and electrical works.
Midbrook were contacted to provide pad foundations, drainage works, steelworks and cladding. Building dimensions were 19 m x 60 m x 4.5 m to each with a side extension providing an additional size area of 12 m x 42 m.
Midbrook was contracted to provide all related groundworks/brickwork including driveway, reinforced raft, drainage and ducting work. The building constructed was a steel framed timber cladding 4 door garage with a black horizontal larch cladding. The main doors were supplied by others.
Midbrook were contracted to supply several maintenance storage buildings throughout the UK. Our Scope of Works included for steelwork, cladding and supply commissioning of roller shutter doors and all PA doors.
Midbrook were contracted to design a reinforced slab and concrete retaining wall. Supply and fit a galvanised cold rolled portal frame, attaching to the existing unit. Tarmac the driveway and provide a hardstanding car parking area, soakaways and drainage connection.
Working to a very tight timescale Midbrook were sub contracted to provide a full civils package including concrete raft design for the main structure, drainage, ducting work and load bearing reinforced slab for tanks storage.
Midbrook were instructed by the client to carry out all civil engineering works and to revamp the existing premises, including new yard areas, ramps, drainage and the correct slab for the buildings. Buildings supplied included new Wash Bay Building and Storage Building.
